NAMM Trade Show Archive

NAMM, the International Music Products Association, is a group of both commercial and retail members of the music gear industry. The acronym NAMM formerly stood for the organization's previous name, the National Association of Music Merchants. That long form has been abandoned in favor of the abbreviated form.

Each year, NAMM holds two trade shows—the NAMM Show happens each year in January in Anaheim, California, while the Summer Session takes place in alternating cities. Over the years, the Summer Session has been held in Indianapolis, Nashville, and Austin, Texas. The Anaheim show is significantly larger in scope and size than the Summer Session, which has less of a focus on products than the winter show.

Harmony Central provides extensive coverage of both shows each year to our community, including a full range of product press releases, video coverage, and forum events.
