DUY unleashes DSPider September 26, 1997
DUY's DSPider is the first modular processing and synthesizing software for the Digidesign TDM Bus(TM). It consists of 40 separate modules that can be linked by the user in countless different ways, providing a completely new and revolutionary approach to the creation of user defined synthesizers and processors.
DSPider allows you to create virtually any type of processing or audio generating device: equalizers, dynamic processors, reverbs, synthesizers, sound effects generators, etc To enable this, the DSPider offers a full range of and parameters, from simple operators such as add, subtract, multiply and shift, etc, to fully functional modules like shapers, envelope followers and pitch trackers.
In providing modules previously only available in modular synthesizers, DSPider also permits virtually unlimited synthesis capabilities. Flexible delay modules allow the creation of complex user defined reverbs.
Graphic interfaces like sliders, numeric readouts, plasma meter readers and scopes, etc, allow easy "drag and drop" programming. The creation of entirely new audio processors is also possible thanks to the unique combination of processing and synthesizer modules. A large number of predefined patches is also provided as standard.
DSPider is currently available for Digidesign TDM Bus. Pro Tools 4.0 with full automation is supported. For more information about DUY's products, you can go online www.duy.es or email info@duy.es. |
