Minnetonka Announces SurFX Multichannel Effects for 5.1 Surround Sound

Minnetonka Audio Software the industry's first suite of 5.1 Surround Sound effects plug-ins.
"It is Minnetonka's goal to offer the recording engineer the most comprehensive array of software tools for Surround Sound Authoring," stated Minnetonka's president John Schur. "SurFX is a real breakthrough in terms of completing the toolset for the first generation of Surround Sound workstations. SurFX's initial offering will include a Surround Reverb, a Surround Multi-tap Echo, a Surround Chorus, and a Surround Flanger. The plug-ins work inside of Mx51's innovative drag-and-drop mixer. The effects are simple selected and dropped onto any channel strip. A pop-up window gives control over effects parameters.
The effects parameters are automatable under Mx51. Also, Mx51 allows you to have multiple effects windows open at once.
