Creates Digital 1/0 Card for Studio Vocalist

14, 1995In an effort to meet the needs of today's emerging digital studio, DigiTech has
introduced a plug-in card (SV-I/0) for its Studio Vocalist vocal harmony processor.
With every conversion made between analog and digital formats in an audio signal
path, noise and artifacts are added. The SV-IO is designed for owners of the Studio
Vocalist who require the sonic purity derived when vocal signals are converted
into the digital domain and kept there until final playback. Installing an SV-I/O
gives the user the flexibility to: - produce digital harmonies from a digital
vocal input;
- produce digital harmonies from analog mic or line inputs;
- digitally
chain with other digital effects; and
- produce analog harmonies from a digital
vocal input.
The SV-I/O supports standard sampling rates of 32, 44.1 and
48 kHz, and has both AES/EBU and S/PDIF inputs and outputs to ensure compatibility.
It can also be clocked by an external source for fully synchronized analog-to-digital
conversion. The 3.75 x 1.75-inch panel is easy to install and comes equipped with
special software that automatically updates the Studio Vocalist user interface
with new menus for selection of sample rate, synchronization and input/output
formats. The SV-I/O features a suggested retail price of $279.95.For more information contact:
