| BOSS TM-7 Guitar Monitor
June 1, 1995The TM-7 is a guitar practice aid. It offers stereo audio inputs, so you can mix a cassette or CD player with the parts you are playing through the guitar input. The TM-7 is also equipped with a guitar amplifier simulator. The simulator provides three volume and three tone controls. The TM-7 output can then be used for line recording direct to a multitrack machine.
The TM-7 also has a "center canceler", which effectively removes or erases the audio signals which originate from the center of the sound field. Most commonly these centrally-located signals are the guitar solos and the vocals. Using this feature you can rehearse your solos without any obstruction from the existing solo or vocals.
The TM-7 allows you to mix in your choice of external effects using the built-in effects loop (with a stereo return). You can also use the stereo mini headphone jack to practice without distrubing others. For more information, visit their web site at www.rolandus.com. |
