Steinberg announce that as of March 1996, Cubase for Windows
adds audio to its Score and MIDI capabilities!
This means that users can start to get into HardDiskRecording already
with even Cubase 3.0 for Windows.
Cubase 3.0 features professional MIDI-Sequencing, proficient scoring,
digital audio recording and processing with MME-compatible soundcards.
Advanced audio processing is handled by Steinberg's Wavelab technology
and features realtime editing and processing of digital audio with
Windows 95. Wavelab LITE features include compression/limiting, digital
EQ and fades/crossfades.
Double clicking a waveform in Cubase's Wave Editor brings the user to
the Wavelab environment. When the processing of digital audio is
complete, the audio files in the current Cubase Song are updated so you
can listen to your edits immediately.
Cubase Score 3.0 now offers, professional MIDI-Sequencing, professional
scoring and printout and digital audio with MME-compatible soundcards,
Wavelab LITE is included.
Cubase Audio 3.0 XT features the specifications of Cubase Score 3.0 plus
extended support for dedicated HardDiskRecording Hardware.
