TC Works Announces New DirectX Reverb Plug-In

Cubase VST version also included

November 28, 1997

TC WORKS, TC Electronic's new signal processing Plug-In company, is pleased to announce TC NATIVE REVERB - the first TC product available for host-based DSP processing on Windows 95/NT PCs.

TC NATIVE REVERB provides TC-quality Plug-In reverb for users of native recording environments supporting Microsoft's DirectX - such as SoundForge, WaveLab and Cakewalk. Also included is a dedicated version for Cubase VST.

An intuitive user interface recreates a familiar hardware look, while offering all the advantages of software interfaces. Parameters like 'Color', 'Diffuse' and 'Shape' integrate all aspects of reverb tail sound design into a highly graphical interface, making the product extremely easy to understand and operate. Permanent 'ROM' presets within the Plug-In provide the important basic kinds of reverbs and can be quickly and simply edited and saved into custom user presets.

"TC NATIVE REVERB is the first in an upcoming series of native processing Plug-Ins for TC Works, with more scheduled for release early next year", comments Ralf Schluenzen, Managing Director of TC Works. "We designed it to be really easy to use, affordable and compatible - but best of all the sound quality is 100% TC!"

The also included dedicated Cubase VST version fully utilizes the mixing and performance advantages the Steinberg Cubase VST platform offers.

A highly optimized algorithm technology used in TC NATIVE REVERB ensures compatibility even with slower Pentium PCs, down to 133 MHz.

System Requirements:
Pentium 133 (166 or faster recommended)
32 MB of RAM (more recommended)
Windows 95/NT 4.x
Host software compatible to the DirectX standard from Microsoft (e.g. Cakewalk, WaveLab, Cubase, SoundForge,...)

TC NATIVE REVERB will be available from TC WORKS and its distribution partners December 1997. US Retail price: $549 / UK: £299 (ex.VAT) / Germany: DM 890
