Power Pack for FREE!! August 1, 1997 v2.3 of Waves' bundles comes complete with a full range of useful processes
and presets: EQ, Compression, Expansion, SideChain EQ, Gate, Noise reduction,
Limiting, Bit conversion, Reverb, Spectrum Analysis, Stereo processing
and more. The update includes full Pro Tools 4.0 support including Automation
and AudioSuite support, new features bug fixes and more.
With Waves Automation you can take advantage of fully dynamic or snapshot Automation with special functions that only Waves provides. Now you can have full Automation of every control, in every plug-in, with the new Waves Automation option.
The Automation is also available as an upgrade for owners of individual TDM
plugins for US$200, or as part of the TDM bundle for the retail price
of US$2300, or free to anyone who upgrades to a TDM bundle!
Additional features in v2.3 upgrade:
- New presets in TrueVerb, C1 sidechain, +C1, and L1
- Improved original presets for TrueVerb
- Enhanced A/B file support
- Display of the preset name directly in the A/B button
- Full support for the new Pro Tools' preset Load/Save system

On Cubase VST:
- Automation now works on Waves plug-ins.
- Supports saving and loading Cubase songs with Waves plug-ins inside. Requires VST version 3.5!
- WaveShell-VST now supports mono to stereo plug-ins (Example- TrueVerb).
- Use the stereo version of a plug-in inside a mono track send-effect.
New features in Premiere, DeckII, Peak, Vision, Studio Vision Pro, TurboMorph, Digital Performer, and SoundEdit16 now include:
- Preview-loops can now be longer than 15 seconds
- Allow setup of the plug-in in one sample rate, change sample rate, then process the plug-in with the same setup.
- It is now possible to use authorized plug-ins simultaneously with demo (unauthorized) plug-ins in the same session.
- Much more stable memory management brings much more stability for repetitive use (especially for DeckII and Peak users).
- Improved graphics and no more refresh problems.
New feature for V2.3 on the PC include:
- Save load and delete options for users presets.
- New and improved WaveSystem buttons.
