"Due to the difficulty of manufacturing bamboo, it has taken us over two years of R&D to bring a quality bamboo timpani mallet to the market," commented Andy Rega, VP of Operations. "Bamboo shafts provide the performing timpanist with an alternative feel to our standard Maple shafts. They are much fighter in weight and more flexible."
