Harmony Central and BandPages.com Announce
the "Get Your Band on the 'Net" Contest

and Harmony Central, creators of the Harmony Central Internet web site (www.harmony-central.com)
are proud to announce the "GET YOUR BAND ON THE 'NET" contest. The contest gives
independent bands, musicians, and songwriters the chance to win an Internet World
Wide Web site to promote themselves and their music.
The winner of the contest will receive a full BandPages Basic Package web
site, which includes the following custom designed web pages and 1 year of hosting:
- Home Page
- Bio Page
- CD/Release Page (with 3 Real Audio song clips)
- Tour Dates Page (includes 1 free update per month)
The winner's site will receive full Internet announcement and registration,
including coverage on the main BandPages and Harmony Central web sites, and will
be linked to all existing BandPages members' sites.
The Contest ends on June 30th, and all submissions must be received by June
15th. The winner will be chosen by BAND Networking Services, Inc. and members
of the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA), and announced on July 1st, 1998
on the BandPages web site, and in writing to all participants.
All entrants must have an Independent (not on a major label) CD or cassette
release to qualify for the contest. All genres are welcome.

All kits and releases become the property of BAND Networking Services, Inc.,
unless a pre-addressed, postage-paid mailer is included with the submission. The
kits will be used solely for the purpose of contest judging, and any materials
received will be used only by permission of the artist.
Harmony Central (The Internet Resource For Musicians) is an incredible collection
of useful information for musicians, including product reviews, magazine archives,
and articles. It is visited by over 40,000 people a day.
BandPages is an online community of Independent musicians and artists, for
the purpose of promoting their music. The site has been featured in Guitar Player
and Keyboard Magazine, as well as on various TV and radio stations. Traffic to
