Tech 21 Introduces CompTortion(TM) Effects Pedal

May 18, 1998The CompTortion logically, and uniquely, combines two effects: compression and distortion. No other single pedal offers this kind of control over such a range of sounds --from totally clean to light distortion to smooth overdrive, and from zero compression to completely squashed.

Musically voiced to complement each other, these effects are independently adjustable so you can control the ratio that best suits your particular taste. Characteristic of all Tech 21 products, the CompTortion is multifunctional, exceptionally versatile, and will not depersonalize your guitar tone. You can use either the compression or distortion separately, or you can, of course, mix the two together. The CompTortion can also be used for just a clean boost.

Controls include "Comp," "Tortion," Tone and Level. Utilizes optional 9V DC power supply (Tech 21 Model #DC2), or 9V battery. The suggested retail price is $125.00.
