Designed to offer the transparent audio, "musical" EQ and unique features that make Behringer the choice of discriminating professionals worldwide, the new Eurodesk MX3282A 8-bus and Eurodesk MX2442A 4-bus live/recording mixing consoles are an ideal choice for live sound use, project studios and fixed installations.
An Ultra Low-Noise 32 input, 8-bus console, the MX3282A has 24 mic/line channels and 4 stereo line channels; 8 assignable/pan-able sub groups with individual balanced outputs and high-quality discrete balanced mic inputs with phantom power capability. All mic channels feature 3-band semi-parametric "constant Q" EQ with Lo Cut filter, Mute and Pan. The stereo channels feature fixed 4-band EQ, Mute and Balance.
The MX3282A has 8 balanced Aux Sends and 4 balanced stereo effects Returns (1 & 2 fully assignable), all with +15 dB of available gain. Solo-In-Place and PFL is provided on all channels, subgroups and Auxes. Additional features include channel overload LEDs; Status LEDs on all Mutes and Solo/PFL switches, including the Aux sends; Insert points on all mic channels, subgroups and Main Mix; balanced inputs and outputs and a built-in talkback mic assignable to monitor and headphones.
The MX2442A is a 24-channel (16 mic/line and 4 stereo) "true 4-bus" mixer which lets users "group" different combinations of the 24 channels to 4 mono subgroup buses. The console also includes semi-parametric 3-band "constant Q" EQ with swept mids on the mono channels and fixed 4-band EQ on the stereo channels; 6 Aux sends per channel and a talkback section with built-in mic. A discriminating 75 Hz (18 dB per octave) low-cut filter on both mixers eliminates stage rumble and unwanted low frequency information while "beefing up" thin vocal and instrumental parts.
Both consoles feature precision bar graph meters; sealed Panasonic pots and smooth 60 mm Panasonic faders with a true logarithmic taper. They also include a fan-cooled external power supply, a unique feature for this type of mixer.
