Behringer Eurodesk MX9000 8-Bus Console April 15, 1998
Acclaimed around the world as the most acoustically transparent, "musical" and feature-rich 8-bus console, the new Behringer Eurodesk MX 9000 has been shipping in quantity and is quickly establishing a reputation for itself in project studios and audio installations around the country.
The Eurodesk features 24 dual input channels, all with dedicated EQ, Mute, Pan and Level. It also offers up to 60 line inputs on mixdown; an unusually comprehensive EQ section with swept mids and a universal expander port that allows it to link seamlessly to other EURODESKS or any 8-bus console.
This remarkable new mixing console also includes: 8 balanced subgroups; channel, subgroup and mix insert points and direct outputs, plus 24 balanced tape inputs and outputs, switchable to +4 dBu/-10 dBv.
The Eurodesk's 4-band constant Q equalizer on the main channels includes swept mids that offer a range of 50 Hz-20 kHz. The console is further equipped with 6 Aux sends, switchable Pre/Post and A/B channel; 6 stereo effects returns with extensive routing capability; Solo-In-Place and pre-fader listen and extensive monitoring and talkback options, including 2 independent headphone mixes. At least +15 dB of gain is available on all sends and returns.
Behringer also provides an optional 24-channel meter bridge and a universal Cybermix 32-channel mute/fader automation system. Built with typical Behringer quality and attention to detail, the Eurodesk MX9000 features a sturdy chassis and rugged construction throughout with sealed Panasonic pots and specially-constructed, laser-trimmed Panasonic faders that provide a true logarithmic taper.
Many other features take the Eurodesk into new levels of performance for an 8-bus console: 24 secondary channel inputs (each with their own dedicated EQ, level and Mute); superior noise and transient performance, thanks in part to a massive 19" rack-mounted external 400 watt power supply; balanced mic (gold-plated XLR) line and tape inputs and servo-balanced mic preamps let you hear the actual sound of your microphones.
Suggested retail list price for the EURODESK MX9000 is $2799. For more information visit Behringer at www.behringer.com. |
