Samson Expands PowerBrite(tm) Family
July 20, 1998With the introduction of the new PowerBrite Pro and PowerStrip, Samson now has an impressive line of rack light/power distribution and metering systems that fit seamlessly into a variety of applications.
Ideal for studio, live and fixed installations, the new PowerBrite(tm) Pro 7 is a combination power distribution system with full metering capability and a rack light in one rack space. This practical device features 6 switched AC outlets on the rear panel and an unswitched AC outlet on the front panel for constant power applications such as soldering or powering a special effect.
The PowerBrite Pro also features an efficient front panel fluorescent light mounted in a pull-out tray that lights all the devices in the rack below it. Like the popular PowerBrite, the Pro includes a special back-lit panel on the light tray that can be individually customized to showcase anyone's studio, band, company name or logo.
Full metering is provided by a front panel LED voltage meter with 10 segments (95 to 130 VAC) and LED current meter (10 segments, 1.5 to 15 amps AC). In addition to a front panel Power On/Off switch and 15 amp circuit breaker, the PowerBrite Pro has an XLR Jack on the rear panel for a mini halogen gooseneck lamp.
The new PowerStrip 9 is a comprehensive power distribution system in one rack space with eight switched AC outlets on rear panel and one unswitched AC outlet for soldering or powering a special effect. Other features includes AC noise filtering, surge/spike protection, a front panel Power on/off switch, 15 amp circuit breaker and a
