Sonic Foundry Selects SCV London as Exclusive UK Distributor
January 3, 1998Sonic Foundry, Inc. announced that SCV London will be the exclusive UK distributor for its
line of audio software. The Madison-based software developer is the creator of Sound Forge,
award-winning audio software for the Windows platform.
Roy Elkins, Sonic Foundry's vice president of sales and marketing believes the alliance with SCV London
will strengthen the company's position overseas. "Our international strategy has been to seek out the
best distributors, and to actively support them with cooperative advertising, trade show presence and
comprehensive marketing materials. We feel that SCV London, with its strong connections to the UK's
premiere music retailers, will help Sonic Foundry to expand its customer base in the UK."
