Pintech Introduces Electronic Cocktail Percussion Kit

June 1, 1998

Pintech introduces the world's first electronic cocktail percussion kit, providing electronic drums in a configuration that allows the drummer to play standing up. The CK-8 cocktail kit has eight playing zones, and can be used with any popular drum module such as the Alesis DM5.

The CK-8 features two of Pintech's dual zone ConcertCast pads, which resemble shallow acoustic drums or timbales. These pads have separate rim and head triggers, and use acoustic heads. The CK-8 also consists of one CT-10 trigger cymbal with boom arm, two Sensorac tubular percussion pads for use as cowbells, cymbals, etc. and Pintech's popular K-3 kick pad with inverted beater. Though the kit is designed for front stage playing while standing, the K-3 accepts double bass drum pedals for those drummers who wish to use the CK-8 as a sit behind kit.

The entire kit, complete with custom rack, cables, cable wraps and module mount, lists for well under $699.00! Pintech electronic drum kits and accessories are made in the USA and feature an exclusive lifetime warranty.
