New Sabian 16" AAX Bright Crash Expands AAX Line
January 28, 1998On the heels of the Winter NAMM introduction of the very successful 18" AAX Bright Crash, Sabian Ltd. is pleased to announce the introduction of a new 16" model.
Featuring boosted high-end response characteristics, the Bright Crash delivers the explosive cutting power normally found in bigger, heavier crash cymbals. Designed to deliver with a glassy presence and substantial focused tone, this model responds with speed, while a moderate decay rate ensures a tasteful degree of sustain. Incorporating Sabian's exclusive Auto Focus Response found in all AAX cymbals, the 16" Bright Crash eliminates unwanted overtones that might conflict with the principal fundamental. This results in a full-bodied, timbre integrity that is realized at all volumes, further enhancing the effectiveness for not only live, but also studio and recording applications.
Commented Sabian Product Specialist, Mark Love, "We were receiving so many special orders for the 16" Bright Crash that it was a natural addition to our catalog. Many of the requests came from drummers looking for a cymbal to compliment their new 18" Bright Crash, but a substantial number were looking to add a bright, articulate sound to their set-up for the first time and thus augment their color options."
Pressure-shaped from pure Sabian B20 bronze, for bright and biting sounds, the 16" AAX Bright Crash is available in Natural or Brilliant Finish and is protected by Sabian's full One-Year Warranty. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.sabian.com. |
