| Meinl Announces Amun Series Cymbals

The
Amun Cymbal Series starts as the top of the line of a new chapter
within the Meinl Professional Range. A hardened Meinl bronze alloy is the foundation
of this exclusive cymbal line. Amun Cymbals have a warm, rich sound and an even
sustain. A variety of weights is available including thin, medium and powerful
models. Additionally, two different bell sizes are available on the ride cymbals.
Most modern and computerized hammering techniques guarantee the exact hammering
sequence, depth, angle and strength. The musical power that comes from these cymbals
can be felt as well as heard. This musical power is not unlike the mysterious
power which the Egyptian god Amun emitted. He has been honored in past Egyptian
dynasties and it is who has given this outstanding cymbal line its name.
