BSE-410HLF
December 9, 1999

Simplicity fused with raw power is the benchmark of the Ampeg B-Series. For players interested in capturing the Ampeg tone and quality, without all the bells and whistles of more premier series, the new B-5R is guaranteed to satisfy. Designed for "today's players," and played by bassists like Victor Wooton, the B-Series heads keep it simple with straight-ahead power and tone.

Featuring 300-watts @ 4 ohms, the newly designed B-5R head includes dual channel operation for channel switching and combining, mute function, and dual input. Players can dial-in their tone quickly using the 5-position style control for each channel, or customize it using gain, gain boost, and level controls on an overdrive channel. The B-5R head also features a standard SVT clean channel and a completely variable overdrive channel.

Also featuring a unique variable sub-octave divider, the B-5R features series/parallel effects loop with blend control, footswitch for channel switching, combining, or octave operation. Other features include tuner out jack, XLR balanced line out, preamp out/power amp in, and Speakon speaker connections.

With a smaller front profile and compact size, the B-Series enclosures complete the rig. These cabinets feature Ozite covering layered wood, and metal grills for rugged construction and durability. The new cabinets are available in 4x10" and horn or as extended range 4x10" and horn, and single 15".
