Crate introduces their new BFX Bass combo series, featuring newly designed
on-board digital effects. Players no longer have to lug additional effects, worry
about batteries or chords, or even carrying more than one item. The BFX Bass Series
provides players everything they need in one complete package; Preamp and effects
together. This not only adds to versatility, but also allows Crate to supply musicians
with a user friendly bass amplifier series, at a low price.
The BFX15 features a Crate 8" bass driver, 12-watts RMS, tube simulating
Flexwave EV5 preamp, four band EQ, and 8 built in digital effects with effects
level control. Effects include, bypass, slapback delay, echo, chorus, flange,
funk-wah, octave sub, room reverb, and large hall reverb. The BFX15 also features
headphone jack, external speaker jack and weighs 19 lbs.
The BFX 25 features a Crate 10" bass driver, 25-watts RMS, tube stimulating
Flexwave EV5 preamp, four band EQ, and 9 built in digital effects with effects
level control. Effects include, bypass, slapback delay, echo, chorus, flange,
funk-wah, octave sub, room reverb, chorus with reverb, and large hall reverb.
The BFX 25 also features headphone jack, external speaker jack and weighs 30 lbs.
The BFX 50 features a Crate 12" bass driver, 50-watts RMS, tube simulating
Flexwave EV5 preamp, four band EQ, and 9 built in digital effects. Effects include,
bypass, slapback delay, echo, chorus, flange, funk-wah, octave sub, room reverb,
chorus with reverb, and large hall reverb. The BFX 50 also features headphone
jack, external speaker jack, and weighs 30 lbs.
The BFX 100 features a Crate 15" bass driver, 100-watts RMS, tube stimulating
Flexwave EV5 preamp, 8 band EQ, and 9 built in digital effects with effects level
control. Effects include slapback delay, echo, chorus, flange, funk-wah, octave
sub, room reverb, chorus with reverb, and large hall reverb. Also included, gain
control, shape with defeat switch, XLR pre/post line out with level, and master
level. The BFX 100 also features headphone jack, external speaker jack, and weighs
60 lbs.
