Gibson Introduces Ebony and Translucent Brown ES-335 Dot Models
January 11, 1999Gibson's introduced their ES-335 Dot in 1958, combining the archtop, hollowbody tradition and solidbody guitar performance. The classic design continues, but now Gibson will be making them available in two new finishes.
The ES-335 Ebony features a creme body and neck binding, Grover tuners, and nickel hardware. Maple center block construction, '57 Classic humbuckers, and a one piece, 1960 slim taper Les Paul neck are standard features.
