| New Exabyte(TM)-Module for SAMPLITUDE 2496
 April 26, 1999SEK'D now extends it's range of CD-Mastering products, with and additional module for professional Tape-Mastering. The module "TocToTape," developed for SAMPLITUDE 2496, records the compete description of an audio CD (including all PQ-data) in DDP-format to an Exabyte(TM) tape and verifies the medium after the save. A read function, allows the import of Exabyte tapes to SAMPLITUDE 2496, including audio material and PQ data.
Initially, the tape mastering tool will work with audio material in 16-bit stereo format, and it interprets TOC-files of SAMPLITUDE 2496. For the future SEK'D plans an enlargement to high resolution audio files and other SEK'D programs.
