Ruidosoft has announced TrackTracker and TrackTracker_lite,
new applications designed to organize and document the artistic and technical
aspects of music recording sessions at modern studios. Musicians, engineers, producers,
project studio professionals and recording hobbyists can now have a logical way
to store all the valuable information generated in the recording process.
TrackTracker is also the solution to the problems caused by the renaissance
of analog equipment without automation capabilities and the wide range of recording
formats that can be used simultaneously in a single music production. These two
circumstances are responsible for the return to the use of dozens of different
data-sheets, photocopies and diagrams just to keep everything under control. TrackTracker
is the modern option to throw away all this paper stuff. In addition to track
listings, equipment used, equipment configuration and settings, TrackTracker can
also store images, so you can remember exactly how the mics were positioned, etc.
Highlights:
- Clean interface, just "click and go": TrackTracker is smart when
it comes to following the user's work.
- Safety: The stored information can be browsed without any chance to lose data.
Undo and Restore functions are also available.
- No restrictions: TrackTracker manages all kind of recording media and process
devices, avoiding the restraints of the "traditional" sheets.
- Precision: As the user can quickly follow the signal path through different
stages, with as many details as he wants, it is very easy to restore the exact
sound of a previous take.
In addition to TrackTracker, Ruidosoft has also released TrackTracker_lite
(free and directly downloadable from this site). This freeware version is not
limited in capacity or time, and does not have annoying messages or reminders.
Both versions are identical but for the possibility to store the parameters of
the stages in the signal path.
