Button Production Releases Zero-X Seamless
Looper Finding the optimum seamless loop pair is
as easy as pressing a button
January 13, 1999
Button Production released Zero-X Seamless Looper, software for Windows 95/98/NT4
dedicated to make the time consuming and boring work of setting up seamless sustain
loops a breeze.
Zero-X Seamless Looper provides both non-destructive as well as destructive
automatic and manual loop finding tools. The most powerful automatic loop searching
tool scans, without the need of first setting up any loop markers, the sample/region
and returns the optimum loop pair. Multi threading gives the option of scanning
several samples at a time. Most functions have preview facilities. The advanced
loop searching algorithms have been developed for many years. Still they are fast
even on an "old" Pentium 100MHz. Stereo samples are of course supported.
Comprehensive SCSI Sample Dump with key features such as; place key (EMU)
and name/catalogue list, i.e. refers to samples via sample names, not numbers.
It's a true 32-bit Windows 95/98/NT4 application built around a modern sample
editing user interface. Providing multi-document and multi-view, as well as basic
sample editing tools.
This is the first release for Button Production on the PC market. Previously
(1994-1997) they have released Zero-X for the Atari market, co-developed with
Copson DATA. It won Platinum Award in Future Music (1995). Later this year Button
Production will release, Zero-X BeatCreator, a software dedicated to edit and
create breakbeats, drum loops, bass loops and arpeggios in new exiting ways. Creating
groovy and dynamic loops never heard before.
