December 11, 2000David DiFrancesco, company Executive
Vice-President has announced the introduction of two newly updated
mixers from the company. The two units, both in the companys accessories
line, have existed for some time but have recently been updated for stereo
operation. The MX54s ProMix Plus, and the MX56s Playmate will be replacing their
predecessors.
The MX54s ProMix Plus mixes three microphones together via balanced XLR
inputs, and sends their combined signals out stereo transformer-balanced
XLR outputs. The individually switchable phantom power and low-cut switches
provide the final touches which make the MX54s a valuable tool for any
sound reinforcement, musical, recording, or install application. The unit
runs on two 9-volt batteries, or an optional Rolls PS27 power supply.
U.S. retail price of the MX54s is $120.00, and the unit is shipping now.
The MX56s Playmate mixes two 1/4 line level inputs, with an XLR Mic input,
and a stereo RCA input. Each input has a level control and is sent to
several outputs including a stereo RCA output, a stereo headphone output,
and a summed to mono 1/4 unbalanced line level output. The Mic Input
features jumper switchable phantom power, the voltage of which will depend
on battery or power supply operation.
U.S. retail price of the MX56s is $100.00 and the unit is available now. For more information, visit their web site at www.rolls.com. |
