Schecter Guitar Research's New Scorpion and Scorpion BassNow available at authorized Diamond Series Dealers June 13, 2000The innovative Scorpion is designed as the "ultimate low-tuned" instrument for todays aggressive guitarist. Tuned (low to high) B / E / A / D / F# / B, the Scorpion provides the sonic range of a 7-String, without the wide neck.
Features includes a sinister double cut-away
mahogany body, a 25 1/2 scale bound rock maple set-in neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dual Diamond inlays. Black
Grover tuners and a hard tail bridge are also standard. The Scorpion is also armed with two high output Duncan Design pickups.
Not forsaking todays bassist, the new Scorpion bass features an extended 35 scale and is tuned B/E/A/D, providing an
extremely tight and focused low B, without the uncomfortable girth of a standard
5-String bass.
The bound Set-in 22 Fret neck features a rosewood fingerboard, dual Diamond 12th fret inlays, and black hardware.
Two EMG hz pickups and an active EQ circuit provide a wide tonal arsenal.
Both Scorpion's are constructed with dual graphite reinforcement rods in the neck for increased strength, sustain and
stability.
Available in Black Satin.
MSRP is $699.00 for the Scorpion and
$729.00 for the Scorpion bass.
Left-handed versions are also available. For more information, visit their web site at www.diamondseries.com. |
