Hamer USA to Introduce New Vanguard Korina

July 6, 2000Hamer USA of has announced the addition of the
new Hamer Vanguard Korina model to its Vanguard series. This model will
be debuted at the Summer, Nashville NAMM show. Related Frank Rindone,
Hamers Product Manager, "each year since 1996, Hamer has successfully
introduced limited production guitars made of White African Mahogany,
commonly known as Korina. Now for the first time, we will be offering
a Korina guitar as a regular production piece in the line, at a price
that is sure to attract a lot of attention."
The Vanguard features a semi-hollow, two-piece Korina body that is capped
with a bookmatched, arched "Chevron" Korina top with f-hole.
The top is hand-carved both inside as well as out. Standard on this model
will be two Seymour Duncan P-90 pickups. The Korina neck will feature
a rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
It is available in a Vintage Korina finish, with a retail price of $1699.00
