November 2, 2000Studiomaster has announced that the popular Vision and Horizon series stereo powered mixers, have now been updated to the Vision 900 and Horizon 1500 series including a cosmetic update and now incorporates Studiomaster’s new E Series amp technology.
Both Vision and Horizon series provide input features such as: balanced mic & line inputs per channel, channel inserts, 3 band mid sweep channel EQ, 60mm faders, channel ‘listen’ switch, LED overload indicators, 3 aux sends (4 on Horizon), (auxiliary 1 dedicated for internal digital processor). The master section features: a stereo sub-group, main/monitor amp split, dual 7 band graphic EQ’s with main/sub-group assign and with automatic split assign, a 166 program -- 32 bit digital processor providing numerous reverb, delay and special effects settings including 19 on-board -- user programmable memories, 15 of which have external MIDI program control. Additional digital processor features include: a bright alpha numeric display window, programmable footswitch menu, electronic scrolling ‘help’ program (in 4 languages), programmable effects EQ, system mute, auxiliary mute and more.
The Vision 900 series includes two models the V908 (8 channel rackmountable) and the V912 (12 channel). Power is provided via Studiomaster’s internal 900E series amp modules (with Studiomaster’s AMCS protection), providing up to 450 watts per side at 2 ohms (900 watts total).
The Horizon 1500 series includes two models: the H1508 (8 channel rackmountable) and the H1516 (16 channel). Power is provided via Studiomaster’s internal 1500E series amp modules (with Studiomaster’s AMCS protection), providing a hefty 775 watts per side at 2 ohms (1500 watts total).
