Audio Ease releases the VST Wrapper 1.0 for MOTU Audio System
(MAS). With the VST Wrapper, Mark Of The Unicorn's (Digital) Performer and AudioDesk/2408
users can run a staggering amount of Macintosh VST plug-ins, a lot of them freeware
and available on the web.
The VST Wrapper is designed to not be noticed. A single VST Wrapper is enough
to have all the available VST plug-ins pop up in the Performer channel inserts.
There is no noticable performance degradation, and inserting and deleting VST
plug-ins works just like MAS or TDM plug-ins. Even sending MIDI to VST instruments
is possible through the VST Wrapper.
There is a demo that emits a little blip once in a while. For $29.95 the demo
can be unlocked with a registration number that the user receives immediately
upon purchase at the audio ease on-line store.
