August 1, 2000The new "Super Goldtone" amplifiers add extra dimensions to the original "Goldtone" range by virtue of a super flexible preamp and, in the case of the flagship GA-60RV, extra valve power.
The new preamp boasts two independent channels, each with Boost and separate reverb controls for a wide range of classic tones, while a series/parallel effects loop allows the user to hook up to external processors and enjoy near limitless versatility.

The GA-30RV's unusual combination of 10" and 12" Celestion speakers results in a uniquely well balanced voice, with great punch and definition from the smaller driver and a warm, developed low end from the 12" speaker.
The big GA-60RV combo, with an output of 60 watts and 2x12" Celestion speakers is perfect for situations where both power and portability are required.
Now, for the first time ever, the "Goldtone" badge is to be found on the front of a head, the GA-30RVH. Based on the GA-30RV combo, the Class GA-30RVH partners the 240 watt "Super Goldtone" cabinet to make up one of the most striking half stack set-ups ever. With its 2x10" + 2x12" Celestion speaker combination and half-back design, the "Super Goldtone" cabinet is destined to become a modern classic, as is the entire range.
