MAGIX Entertainment has announced the launch of Audio Cleaning Lab, now available in stores nationwide.

With a suggested retail price of under $50, this product restores the sound quality of old vinyl records, cassettes, CDs and even dulled MP3 files. The Audio Cleaning Lab quickly eliminates hissing and crackling from vinyl records, levels out the stereo volume, and cleans up gaps between tracks. Audio Cleaning Lab allows users to easily insert analog recordings directly into the program with no pre-amp required. Once a user's collection has been revitalized, the program allows consumers to burn their music onto a CD.

"Cleaning Lab technology has the power to instantly revitalize old music collections, including vinyl records, CDs or cassette tapes, allowing people to enjoy their favorites for many more years to come," said Ken Alterwitz, CEO/President for MAGIX Entertainment, USA. "From record collectors and music enthusiasts to professional DJ's, anyone now has an alternative to tossing out their worn music library and upgrading it to today's digital standards."

Users of the software can effortlessly sharpen, clean up and digitally re-master their music with the software's four step-by-step guidance wizards. They can use the Cleaning Wizard to clean up any interference, static or hissing and the Sound Optimizer Wizard to sharpen sounds with effects. The Track Creation Wizard can be used to split long recordings into separate CD tracks and the Burn Wizard helps users burn their CDs.

Additionally, there are 16 professional effects like reverb or echo to enhance sound quality, a 10-band equalizer to create richer tones, stereo FX to augment stereo sound, and a compressor for balancing volume.

Audio Cleaning Lab is available at leading software retailers nationwide, including Best Buy, Micro Center, Electronic Boutiques, Media Play, CompUSA, Circuit City, Fry's and Virgin Megastores.
