ddrum4 Mega Drumkits Signature Series 2 Collection Announced
 February 1, 2001Clavia will release a new batch of ddrum4 Mega Drumkits Signature Series sounds for their ddrum4 electronic drum systemin March. Four session drummers contribute with their original acoustic drum kits recorded at the Galaxy studio in Belgium. The drummers are Simon Phillips, Dennis Chambers, Kenny Aronoff and Mel Gaynor. The recording sessions took place in one of Europe's biggest studios, the highly sophisticated Galaxy studio in Belgium, during the autumn of 2000.
The drummers use their own typical setup with drums and cymbals. It’s their tuning, their choice of drum heads etc. All sounds recorded are played by each individual drummer. From each session Clavia carefully selected and processed the sounds and tailored them to fit their ddrum4 drum system.
