A new guitar tube amplifier with unique and innovative features.
An extremely versatile concept offers guitar players to customize every major tone-producing section without losing overall balance.
Siegmund introduces the all-new Midnight Blues Tube ComboThe combo’s design allows the tubes to stay upright and provides complete separation of head and 2x12 speakers with a choice of open or closed back.
The rectifier section uses a short protected tube or can be switched to solid-state, for more power and extra tight tone.
The manufacturer offers a choice of two reverse-engineered output transformers:
The 50 watts 68 Plexi and the ultra-rare 38 watts JTM45RS Deluxe, which was used only in the very first few Marshalls ever built. The amp accepts EL34, KT66, 5881, 6L6GC or EL84 power tubes.
A complete, easy-access bias control section on the rear panel includes: Bias-adjust with test-points for DVM hook-up and balance-adjust.
Two preamp versions are available: Parallel Effects-loop or Spring Reverb with post-preamp Effects loop.
Gain and Drive knobs can be dialed-in for a great variety of overdrive or hi-gain distortion tones.
A true-bypass Master Volume allows for vintage style poweramp distortion.
The first preamp tube socket has its own unique preamp-bias-adjust, which accepts the most popular preamp tube types. Favorites such as 12AX7, 5751, 12AY7, 12AT7 and 12AU7 produce an endless variety of gain characteristics: Super-clean to extra-saturated crunch and anything in between.
The 2x12 combo comes with Celestion Greenbacks or optional Celestion G12H, Celestion Blues or WeberVST Bulldogs.
The Midnight Blues is available as Combo, Head or Rackmount with a list price starting at $1695.-
