Native Instruments Introduces Pro Tools Edition Plug-Ins
November 12, 2001
Native Instruments is the first manufacturer to offer virtual instruments
for RTAS and Digidesign's newly developed HTDM interface. As a result of
an extensive cooperation between Native Instruments and Digidesign, Native Instruments will ship the B4 organ, the PRO-52 vintage synth, and the drum
sampler BATTERY in November 2001 as the Native Instruments Studio
Collection PTE. The NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY PTE will also be available as a
separate RTAS/HTDM Plug-In in November 2001.
The RTAS and HTDM interfaces seamlessly integrate Native Instruments
software into Pro Tools without any compromises. All NI PTE Plug-Ins
support total recall of settings, full automation (including ProControl
and Control|24 remote control support), and multiple instantiation. The
complete support of RTAS and HTDM guarantees maximum comfort and
flexibility when using the award-winning NI software in the professional
Pro Tools studio environment. The NI RTAS/ HTDM Plug-Ins are processed by
the host computer and operate transparently
with Pro Tools TDM and LE systems.
The Native Instruments Studio Collection PTE will retail for $999, while
the NI Spektral Delay will cost $449. Both packages will be released in
November 2001.
The new RTAS/ HTDM Plug-Ins
The B4 is an emulation of the most legendary organ of all time.
In addition to supporting all features of the original 400 lb monster,
including rotor, tube amp, and distortion, the B4 also features a new
software extension that gives the B4 the sound of a Vox, Farfisa, and a
Harmonium.
The Pro-52 emulates the warm and powerful tones of one of the most popular
analog synthesizers of the eighties with stunning accuracy and convincing
authenticity. The Pro-52 can even import original Prophet-5 sysex data
and adds a powerful effect section to extend on the original design.
The drum sampler BATTERY is the most comfortable, flexible, and powerful
way to work with a large number of percussive and pitched samples.
Compatibility with all common sample formats and full drag and drop
support assures complete integration into any professional's setup.
The NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY is a unique effect based on a realtime Fast Fourier
Transformation (FFT) for exceptional and untraditional sound design. The
NI- SPEKTRAL DELAY can be used for everything from subtle corrections to
complete sonic transformations.
