Minprint Announces Recording Product Bundle
April 7, 2001The Recording Bundle from MindPrint is an all-in-one solution for computer-based recording, covering
preamplification, audio I/O, and recording software needs.
The Bundle comes with the MindPrint Di-Port Preamplifier, an I/O module
with
phantom power, 24-bit AD/DA conversion, sync, and real-time monitoring in a
single unit.
Also included is RME's Digi 96/8 digital audio
interface for Mac and PC with both a 2-channel (SPDIF and
AES/EBU) and 8-channel interface (ADAT optical). Enhanced Full Duplex and
Master mode allow for a combined operation in SPDIF and ADAT format.
Rounding out the Recording Bundle is Steinberg's 16-Track Audio-Recording Software, CUBASIS VST.
As stated by the company, "The MindPrint Recording Bundle fits best in modern recording situations and is meant for all recordists, who need an easy to use and
relieable high-quality Stereo in/out solution. The MindPrint Di-Port is a
high-quality converter housed as an external device. Its signal is then
transmitted digitally and loss-free to the computer. Not only do the A/D
and D/A converters of the DI-PORT work with 24 bit precision, they are also
extremely linear. Moreover, the device is chock full of high-quality analog
circuitry. And, since it's a stand-alone device in a dedicated housing, it
is immune to pick-up of stray interference.
