Voyetra Adds Deluxe Versions to Teach Me Line of Music Education Software

December 27, 2001

Voyetra Turtle Beach, Inc., a manufacturer of PC-based software for the consumer and professional music markets, announced that it would add Teach Me Guitar Deluxe and Teach Me Piano Deluxe to its award-winning line of Voyetra music education software. The titles will ship in Q4 2001 at a $59.95 (Teach Me Piano Deluxe) and $49.95 (Teach Me Guitar Deluxe) ASP.

Both programs include professional video instructors who lead you through all levels of instruction, close-up shots of finger placement, looping controls for repeating certain sections, and the ability to perform what you've learned with virtual backing bands.

Teach Me Guitar Deluxe includes new lessons, an updated interface, new song videos to learn, and an Animated Fretboard that synchronizes to songs and shows fretboard finger placement in real time. Also included is an online guitar chord reference, the ability to slow lessons down without changing the key, a guitar tablature pad and a software guitar tuner.

Teach Me Piano Deluxe adds an entire music appreciation and application dimension to its top-selling music instruction program. Customers will get a tour of the history of keyboards, learn about MIDI, music synthesis and digital audio, apply their new playing technique to MIDI and digital audio recording in Recording Station, and prepare for playing live by improvising solos in many different styles with a virtual backing band in Jammin' Keys. Additional downloadable lessons will also be available from Voyetra's website, with a number being provided for free to customers who purchase the product.

"The success of these products has been their convenience," says Seth Dotterer, Director of Marketing at Voyetra Turtle Beach, Inc. "These are proven learning methods that are fun, and they allow you to learn all by yourself at your own pace, and in your own space. Practice for ten minutes or two hours-it's your choice."

Teach Me Guitar Deluxe and Teach Me Piano Deluxe are available from major computer and electronics retailers, and direct from Voyetra via its Web site or toll-free order line.
