 December 6, 2001Songworks has announced one of the most portable tube amps yet. Roughly 5" x 5" x 5" in size and one pound in weight, the new Palm Amp still packs 33 Watts of power.
The amp features a high gain pre-amp developed to emulate the elusive tone of power tube distortion. It also features a foot switchable gain adjustment.
To compliment the pre-amp design, a high frequency output stage was chosen -- 33 Watts.
A small but very powerful all discrete output stage was chosen. NO IC's are used. This design allows the user to achieve the tonal qualities of the amp at any volume.
You can easily take the Palm Amp wherever you go. Plug in headphone for a quiet practice session or plug it into a cab. The amps are 100% hand made in the USA with point to point assembly used throughout.
