PRESS RELEASE
| WaveBurner Pro 2.1 Gains FireWire Support
September 28, 2001
The 2.1 release of the WaveBurner Pro now supports FireWire CD writers. A list of all currently supported models can be found at www.emagic.de/english/support/download/wbmac.html.
Also included is POW-r, a dithering algorithm, designed for the creation of superb sounding 16-bit audio files and CDs. This complements WaveBurner Pro's internal 32-bit floating point resolution, which optimizes audio quality by calculating every crossfade, every volume change and every plug-in operation at 32-bit precision. This high internal resolution is only recalculated via the POW-r dithering algorithm to CD standard 16-bit depth at the mastering stage ensuring that the highest possible audio quality is maintained at every step of your mastering sessions.
Registered owners of WaveBurner Pro can download the update to Version 2.1 for free. For more information, visit their web site at www.emagic.de. |
