Interface Music Corporation Announces the Wirething Guitar Pick
November 23, 2001Interface Music Corporation
announced the Wirething brand guitar pick, available immediately worldwide
through its website at wirething.com.
The Wirething Guitar Pick is a new invention that features a smooth curved
wire that picks the string, embedded in an injection molded textured and
contoured plastic grip. This gives guitarists the precise clean sound of a
metal pick, plus the easy grip, control, and light weight of a plastic pick.
The invention has been awarded U.S. Patent No. 5,894,097.
"The Wirething guitar pick can give guitar players better control, and a
different range of sounds and dynamics than regular plastic picks," according
to Wirething inventor and Interface Music Corporation president Kenneth
Barry. "It could be a useful addition to any guitarist's pick collection."
Gene Bertoncini, guitarist formerly with the Johnny Carson Tonight Show Band,
comments, "I love the pick. I definitely approve. It's got a nice warm but
pointed attack." Danny Embrey, guitarist formerly with Sergio Mendes, states,
"It has a real positive feel on the strings. It's easy to control, and I like
the sound."
Images of the pick, additional quotes, sound samples, and much more can be
found on the website at wirething.com. Ordering information is available at
the site also. The retail price of the Wirething guitar pick will
initially be $2.49 each.
