The successor to SWR's Basic Black combo is here. Based around a custom SWR 15-inch bass driver coupled with a high-frequency horn driven with 350 Watts of power, the Black Beauty features the footswitchable SubWave octave effect found in the Mo' Bass (footswitch and cable included).

Connections on the Black Beauty include dual independent inputs for active and passive instruments, a side-chain effects loop, balanced XLR output (switchable between direct, line, and direct with sub modes), tuner send, and extension speaker cabinet.

In addition to the SubWave effect, the combo offers a built-in limiter with defeat switch, active bass and treble controls, variable mid-range EQ, and effects blend control to tweak your tone.

List price US$1499.

For those that need a more portable combo, SWR has created the Baby Baby Blue, grafting the amplifier portion of the original Baby Blue onto a smaller cabinet.. Operating at 120 Watts (160 with a external 8-ohm cabinet), the Baby Baby Blue features another custom designed driver, 10 inches in size, along with a piezo tweeter.

The Baby Baby Blue shares a similar connection lineup with high and low sensitivity 1/4" inputs, side-chain effects loop, balanced XLR out with selectable line and direct modes, tuner send, extension speaker output, and headphone jack..

Audio processing options are a little more limited, but still include the built-in Aural Enhancer, a 3-band semi-parametric EQ, and effects blend control.

List price US$1099.
