PreSonus Introduces DigiTube Mic Pre/EQ with Digital Output
February 18, 2002
Born from the BlueTube mic preamp, PreSonus introduces the DigiTube Mic Preamp combining a single channel tube preamp with equalization and 24 Bit digital output. The tube preamp features a dual servo mic/instrument/line input boasting 70dB of gain with 22dB of headroom, making it extremely useful for critical recording applications.
The DigiTube features a 3-band, sweepable EQ section with overlapping bands and EQ Bypass switch. In addition, the DigiTube includes XLR and 1/4" inputs along with an coaxial S/PDIF 24 Bit Output (44.kHz and 48kHz sample rates) as well as an XLR analog output. A 1/4" TRS insert point allows patching in outboard processing like a PreSonus BlueMax compressor.
The DigiTube is housed in a 1/2-U Rack steel chassis and can be rackmounted with an optional PreSonus BMRA Rack adapter which also accommodates the PreSonus BlueTube, BlueMax and Acousti-Q products.
Projected US Retail Price is $299.95.
