Banzai Releases Fireball Overdrive 2

Banzai has announced the addition of the Fireball Overdrive 2 to their series of Overdrive effects pedals. Designed to offer a broad spectrum of sounds and uses, the Fireball 2 provides the flexibility to switch between rhythm and lead guitar sounds in a single stompbox.
Like the original Fireball it features overdrive, boost, tone, volume and compression mode controls. The revised Fireball Overdrive 2 features several important improvements made in response to customer feedback:
- Wider range tone controls: smoother sweep and better range. Pre- and post distortion tone controls are available, allowing more aggressive sounds and better compatibility with darker sounding humbucker equipped guitars.
- Active, sweepable mid-boost / mid-cut control: you can dial in flat or strong mids
- Three basic distortion/compression modes: comp on, comp off and medium comp mode.
- Increased output volume: the pedal is capable of providing a substantial boost by turning up the volume control, pushing a tube amp over the edge.
- Improved, low-noise layout, internal voltage conversion for superior performance regardless of battery age or adaptor quality, custom made "Banzai True Bypass" switches.
