Godin has introduced a new line of hollow body guitars, the Flat Five.
The body consists of two chambers on each side of a multi-channel center block. All of the body components are made from solid wood, and the guitar features a triple 'A' solid flame maple top. The Mahogany neck is generous in girth but retains the comfort of a smaller neck thanks to Godin's ergocut shaping technique. The 24.75" scale allows for a light touch and adds warmth to the sound.
The Godin humbuckers offer dynamics and 5-way switching that taps every bit of their potential. Blues, Jazz and rock players will feel right at home with the Flat Five.
Flat Five X
The X version of the Flat Five adds an acoustic voice to the standard Flat Five. The acoustic sound is produced with the help of the six LR Bagg's transducers that replace the saddles in the standard bridge. The signal from the saddle transducers runs through an internal preamp with graphic EQ.
