Godin Introduces Multiac Nylon Fretless

Following the success of Godin's Glissentar, a Fretless 11-string instrument modeled after the Oud, comes the Multiac Fretless. Like the Glissentar the Multiac Fretless uses nylon strings but in the standard six-string format.
Previous fretless guitar designs have enjoyed very limited success mostly due to the fact they were steel string guitars that were difficult to play and didn't offer compelling enough musical advantages over fretted versions of the same instrument. This all changes with the Multiac Fretless, which is deceptively easy to play. The nylon strings respond well to a light touch, and their added girth makes them easier to play in tune. The synth access found throughout the Multiac Series guitars is also included in the Fretless.
