Novax Guitars Introduces Fanned Fret Retrofit Bass Necks

Novax Guitars announced the introduction of the Fanned-Fret retrofit
bass neck; a bolt on neck that fits the two most common Fender style
bass models and similar clones with no permanent modifications to the
instrument body. Now players will be able to enjoy the Novax" advantage
on their favorite bass. The Fanned-Fret neck offers several advantages
to the player including:
- Accurate intonation
- Balanced string tension
- Even response along the entire neck
- A low E string scale length of 35 inches (Please note: This scale length allows players the option of B E A D tuning with well defined tone)
The neck shaft is maple with graphite reinforcement, with a choice of
ebony, rosewood or maple fret board. The neck has favorable retail
pricing.
Known for its production model Charlie Hunter 8 string and Fantail 6
string, Novax Guitars will soon be offering a production model
Fanned-Fret 4 string bass, 5 string bass, 7 string guitar, and baritone
guitar. Also, Novax Guitars is developing a production model 6 string
Expression guitar much like the one currently played by Columbia
recording artist John Mayer.
