CutterMusic has released version 2.0 of SawCutter, a software synthesizer.
SawCutter enables the creation of unique waveforms in real-time through the
use of hand drawn waveforms and harmonic adjustment. A series of
user-defined envelopes controls amplitude, pitch and cutoff for the
instrument. Several effects are included such as, delay, distortion, chorus
and ring modulation. Imported wave files can use the same envelopes and
effects.
SawCutter 2.0 emphasizes ease of use. All controls are real-time and are
displayed within a single window. Two effects are adjusted simultaneously
using a two-dimensional control pad.
An expanded sequencer is included for creating entire songs. SawCutter has
full MIDI control with minimal latency.
