Make Your Tone Cut Right Through with the Sound Saw Pedal
December 3, 2002
The next in Death by Audio's line of sonically extreme pedals, the Sound Saw is a tuned 2 channel equalizer/expander which explodes the sound of any instrument. It is named the Sound Saw due to it's extreme chopping and boosting of the sonic spectrum.
One channel is a parametric notch which cuts a variable middle frequency then synthesizes simultaneous bass and treble to give the sound an extremely thick sound. The other channel is a sweeepable bass to treble expander capable of subwoofing bass to crackling shrill treble buzz and everything in-between. One footswitch turns it on and the other switches between the two channels to put two more sounds a stomp away during any performance.
The Sound Saw is hand made with quality components, true bypass, it features dimming LED's when bypassed (to let the user know which channel is active when re-engaged) and a fabulous sparkle silver and black hand silk-screened enclosure.
The Sound Saw is available now from the Death By Audio website
for $225 postage paid in the US.
