Based on one of the mainstays of Schecter's custom line, the new Diamond Series Tempest Custom takes this original 'hybrid' guitar design to the extreme.
The Custom features a 24 3/4" maple neck set into an arched mahogany body. A 1/8" maple top adds high-end sparkle and clarity to the inherent 'gutsy' Tempest tone.
Other features include multi-ply binding, split 'crown' inlays, Grover tuners, and a tune-o-matic/stop tailpiece combination.
Available in two finishes, each with a completely different 'vibe'.
The Gloss Black is outfitted with Gold hardware and two Duncan Design 'zebra' vintage humbuckers. The split Black/White coils give a distinctive 60's look.
The Transparent Antique Sunburst exposes a figured flamed maple top and features chrome hardware and Chrome-covered Duncan Design Alnico humbuckers.
Left hand versions also available.
