BitHeadz Updates Unity Session for Mac OS 9/X Again May 23, 2002
BitHeadz, Inc.has released "Unity Session" version 3.0.2 MSRP $649.00. The
update is free to Unity Session owners. Version 3.0.2 adds even more
features, including VST support for Logic 5 and Cubase 5 for Macintosh.
According to BitHeadz President Steven O'Connell, "Unity Session 3.0.2 marks
complete compatibility with all major sequencers including ProTools HD and
Digital Performer. We've added robust VST support for Logic 5 and Cubase 5
that allows the user to search rapidly through gigabytes of sample content
by viewing Programs, Banks, AND Libraries, an exclusive feature of Unity
Session."
Unity Session 3.0.2 also introduces many powerful new features to the Editor
application such as a preference to display samples as either bar:beat:tick,
or minute:second:frame. Navigation has been enhanced to include keystrokes
for zooming into and listening to sample data selections.
Included in Unity Session, 'Osmosis' will now merge mono sample files into
stereo. Osmosis also now supports the 'Library' feature in Unity Session. A
'Library', which contains 'Banks' and 'Programs', is automatically named and
set each time Osmosis is used to convert an entire Roland S-760/770 or
Akai S-1000/3000 disk.
