PRESS RELEASE

Two New Pedals from Xotic Effects

December 16, 2002

Xotic Guitars & Effects has introduced two new pedals: the AC Booster and RC Booster. These new models join the existing Robotalk pedal, bringing the company's pedal line up to a family of three.

The AC Booster creates a warm and pleasant sound and features a super wide range gain control that allows the pedal to work as a distortion pedal when it is turned all the way up. Treble and Bass controls are included to help you shape the sound anyway you like, plus true bypass to avoid any coloration when you turn the AC booster off. The pedal is hand-wired and hand-assembled in the USA and can be powered by either a 9 Volt battery or optional AC adapter.

The sibling RC Booster pedal is designed to provide a sustainer-type functionality, buffering the guitar signal for long cable runs. According to the company, the Gain control on the RC Booster provides characteristics of a clean tube amp, complemented by Bass and Treble controls. Also hand-wired and hand-assembled in the USA, the RC Booster is a true bypass effect, powered by 9 Volt battery or optional AC adapter.

Sound quality was the first and foremost priority for us! The best characteristic of this booster is to have no character at all!!
